I visited El Coyote Truck Repair Shop for an oil change on my Volvo semi truck. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service or the experience. All of the technicians were very nice and polite, and I appreciate their attitude. However, the work process did not seem correct or consistent with the standard oil change procedures I am familiar with. In my observation, the technician removed the oil filter before opening the drain plug. From my understanding, the correct procedure is to remove the oil fill cap first, then drain the oil, and after that remove the old oil filter. This raised concerns for me about the service quality and procedure. In addition, I observed damage to the old oil filter during removal. My last oil change was our shop never tide hard oil filter I also noticed what appeared to be diesel fuel being handled near the truck’s oil fill hose, which made me uncomfortable and raised safety concerns. After the service, when the oil level was checked, it appeared that at least one extra gallon of oil was added compared to what I expected for this service. Had a OBD test done it went well . California was going to fine me 5G if I didn't have it done. They have sensors in California and if you fail you'll need to get one done. Not to many mechanics are schooled so here's where you can come to

They are really good and straight to the point. They work on my 60 series for oil cooler issues. Ray (mechanic) work on it nd he is really good. THANKS GUYS.
